This stained glass window is such a soulful peek through to the past. The shadowed farmhouse, the darkening sky. It feels intimate, looking at the scene through the dark hues of the inner frame's colors; russet, gold, fall greens. These handmade glass panels are splotched and varied, streaked and stippled. And then the vintage streaky-clear final frame with it's pale pink "repairs".  I love this window for it's peaceful history. Lola designed and made this, selected and ground the glass, foiled and soldered and patinated. It's the only one of it's kind.
